Basic Qualifications
Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience. Clearance Requirements: Responsibilities for this Position Job Description: As a Senior Advanced Electro-Optic Design Engineer, you'll design, develop, build and test systems and products based on optic, photonic and laser technologies. This involves interacting with device, hardware and software design teams to assist in the overall development of optical systems; specifying, selecting and qualifying active and passive optical components, developing and benchmarking system performance models, developing and implementing test procedures and/or evaluating and selecting appropriate test instrumentation. Our team at Annapolis Junction, Maryland works cutting-edge programs to develop Free Space Optical (FSO) communications systems. We design, develop, build, test, and field innovative prototypes for impactful demonstrations of critical technologies. Our portfolio includes multiple concurrent programs spanning space, airborne, and tactical ground domains. What you bring to the table:

This position is fully on-site with occasional Hybrid/Flex available. While on-site, you will be a part of the Annapolis Junction, MD team. Target salary range: USD $160,085.00/Yr. - USD $173,217.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.).
