Phlebotomist II

Location: 34 Bonnet St., Manchester, VT

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-1:00 PM

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Phlebotomist II to support a laboratory site in Manchester, Vermont. This is a part-time opportunity working approximately 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

The successful candidate will have strong blood-drawing/phlebotomy skills, excellent customer service abilities, and the confidence to work independently, as this individual will be the sole staff member working at the site. Candidates with less than two years of experience may also be considered based on their overall skills and qualifications.

• Perform venipuncture and blood specimen collection accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure proper patient identification and specimen labeling.
• Provide a professional, compassionate, and positive patient experience.
• Follow established laboratory procedures and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation and specimen integrity.
• Work independently while maintaining high standards of quality and productivity.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Perform other phlebotomy and site-related duties as assigned.
• Potentially work occasional Saturday shifts as business needs evolve.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong phlebotomy/blood-drawing skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to accurately follow laboratory procedures and safety requirements.
• Color vision is required.

• Previous phlebotomy experience, particularly in a patient-facing laboratory or healthcare environment.
• Two or more years of phlebotomy experience preferred; candidates with less experience may be considered.
• Experience working independently in a laboratory or patient service center.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

• 9:00 AM-1:00 PM
• Part-time, approximately 20 hours/week
• Occasional Saturday shifts may be required in the future.

The selected candidate will be working independently at this location, so comfort with operating autonomously is important.

The maximum client bill rate is $34.47/hour. The eventual Labcorp FTE salary/hourly rate, if converted, will depend on the candidate's experience and will be confirmed by the Labcorp Talent Acquisition team.
