Almac Group is currently seeking a Warehouse Manager for our Audubon, PA location. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the receipt, movement and distribution of materials and finished goods throughout the warehouse. They are to ensure that internal and external client needs are met. Ensure the production schedule is adhered to and distribution needs are met. Prioritize the tasks of the warehouse staff to ensure production requirements are met. Oversee general warehouse functions. Write standard operating procedures. Assist in the research of information required for quality investigations.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Manage all operational staff working within the Warehouse, Distribution and Logistics areas. This will include providing staff with regular performance updates.
  • Warehouse Management and Organization:

    • Ensure that Almac Warehouse is maintained at the very highest level of organization and cleanliness according to GMP. This includes supporting the operation and efficiencies of Facilities Management, helping to ensure that the facility is maintained according to SOPs and cGMPs. Assist whenever needed to investigate warehouse-related facility issues.


  • Distribution/ Receiving:

    • Ensure that all distributions and receipts are appropriately scheduled and performed on time within client and Almac expectations.


  • Daily Operations:

    • Oversee Production Pick lists, Production returns, and material transfers are completed in a reasonable time according to the production schedule.
    • Oversee investigation of inventory discrepancies and provide input for process improvement. Monitor performance of all Powered Industrial Vehicles and warehouse racking.


  • Quality:

    • Serve as a representative for Client and Regulatory audits. Write and update departmental SOP's as review periods arise. Ensure subordinates are trained and understand all SOP's relevant to their job functions.


  • Maintain all DEA Records including

    • ARCOS reporting.
    • Year End inventories and reporting.
    • Maintain DEA vault in a compliant manner.
    • Assist in DEA applications (import/exports, quotas, etc.)
    • Assist the Production Manager/Site Director with DEA Audits.
    • Gather information required for Technical Queries (TQ's) and Quality Incident Reports (QI's)
    • Evaluate subordinates on an annual basis.





Qualifications:
Required Experience / Education:


  • Associates Degree
  • 5 or more years warehouse experience
  • 5 or more years management experience


Preferred Experience / Education:


  • Bachelors degree
