As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Loss Prevention Patrol in Palo Alto, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Retail Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas throughout a high-profile retail location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact professionally with customers, employees, and visitors, respond to security-related concerns, and support a welcoming environment through clear communication and exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $27.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide exceptional customer service to clients, visitors, and retail associates while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, exits, stock areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
