Job Summary

The Warehouse Associateis responsible for receiving, stocking, organizing, and pulling materials for outbound orders in a warehouse environment. This is a physically active position requiring frequent standing, lifting, bending, twisting, and operating forklifts and order pickers. The ideal candidate has warehouse experience, demonstrates safe equipment operation, and is dependable with a consistent work history. This position may offer an opportunity for permanent employment based on performance and business needs.

Job Responsibilities

• Pull and prepare materials for outbound shipment.
• Receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming materials.
• Put materials away on shelves and in designated warehouse locations.
• Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts and order pickers to move and retrieve materials.
• Safely handle loose fittings, bags, boxes, and other warehouse materials.
• Operate order pickers at heights of up to 20 feet.
• Maintain a clean, organized, secure, and safe warehouse environment.
• Read and follow work orders accurately.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory activities as needed.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts and order pickers.
• Ability to safely operate equipment at heights of up to 20 feet.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for approximately 75% of the workday and remain on your feet for extended periods.
• Ability to frequently bend, twist, pull, and perform other physical warehouse activities.
• Ability to read and understand work orders.
• Dependable attendance and a consistent work history.
• Ability to work safely in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment, including hot conditions during summer months.
• Product knowledge or the ability to learn product information quickly.
• Wholesale distribution experience preferred.

Work Experience

• At least 1 year of warehouse experience required.
• At least 1 year of sit-down and stand-up forklift and order picker experience required.
• Experience in wholesale distribution is preferred.
