We are seeking an experienced RD Clinical Dietitian to provide complex pediatric care to patients of our Specialty Clinics. This RD should have pediatric nutrition experience and previous experience working with individuals with developmental delays. This role will provide evidence-based nutrition care to pediatric patients and families across both inpatient and/or outpatient settings. The Clinical Dietitian develops, implements, and monitors individualized medical nutrition therapy plans to support the patient's growth, healing, and quality of life. Will apply technical knowledge and skills depending on the severity and complexity of the case and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, families, and caregivers to ensure optimal nutritional outcomes on routine matters, provides patient and caregiver education, and contributes to evidenced-based practice initiatives.

Hours: Mon- Fri 8am-5pm | Dodson Specialty Clinics

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in nutrition, Dietetics, or related field required.
• Grandfather Clause: Effective January 1, 2024, all newly hired Registered Dietitians must meet the national requirement of holding a master's degree in nutrition, dietetics, or a related field to be eligible for credentialing and employment.
• MUST have previous experience working as a Dietitian within complex care and with patients with developmental delays.
• Pediatric experience preferred.

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification:

• RD/RDN (Registered Dietitian/Registered Dietitian Nutritionist) credential issued by the Commission on Dietetic Registration required.
• Licensed Dietitian (LD) in the State of Texas required.
• CPR certification required.

Employees hired or credentialed as Registered Dietitians prior to January 1, 2024 are grandfathered under the previous bachelor's degree requirement and remain eligible to continued employment in this role with active registration and state licensure in good standing.
