Integrated Power Services (IPS) is seeking a Shop Clerk to support service center operations by coordinating shipping and receiving activities, maintaining warehouse organization and inventory accuracy, scheduling transportation and fleet activities, and ensuring repair jobs and customer equipment move efficiently through the service process. This position serves as a key communication link between customers, drivers, warehouse personnel, and service center operations while maintaining accurate records and supporting a safe, organized work environment.

Responsibilities and Expectations

  • Receive repair jobs into the shop and verify equipment documentation.
  • Inspect incoming equipment and materials for damage and accuracy.
  • Receive, identify, store, and dispatch materials and equipment efficiently.
  • Ensure accuracy of shipments, receipts, inventory transactions, and related records.
  • Prepare repaired equipment and materials for customer delivery or shipment.
  • Load, unload, move, and organize materials safely within the warehouse.
  • Maintain accurate warehouse, inventory, and transportation records.
  • Support inventory counts and material tracking activities.
  • Serve as a point of contact for customers regarding deliveries, pickups, and shipment status.
  • Coordinate daily dispatch schedules and assignments for drivers.
  • Schedule customer deliveries, equipment pickups, and third-party transportation services.
  • Communicate schedules, route changes, delays, and special instructions to drivers and customers.
  • Track completed deliveries, pickups, and transportation paperwork.
  • Coordinate maintenance scheduling and service requirements for company vehicles.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend more efficient work practices.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and PPE requirements.
  • Report accidents, near misses, unsafe conditions, and equipment concerns promptly.
  • Support overall service center operations and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
  • Previous experience in shipping and receiving, warehouse operations, dispatching, logistics, customer service, or related operational support preferred.
  • Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be considered.
  • Ability to input, retrieve, and analyze data
