TheDatacenter Construction Delivery (DCD)organizationis responsible fordelivering datacenter capacity that supports Microsoft's cloud business while meeting safety, quality, sustainability, schedule, budget, and operational readiness requirements.
TheData Center Delivery (DCD)Sub-Regional Construction Leaderprovides leadership, ownership, and accountability for the safe, predictable, and efficient delivery of large-scale datacenter construction programs across an assigned sub-region. This roleis responsible forleading construction teams and delivery partners to achieve safety, quality, scope, schedule, budget, and operational readinessobjectivesin support of Microsoft's cloud growth strategy.
The DCD Sub-Regional Construction Leaderestablishesportfolio priorities,allocatesresources, drives risk management and governance, and promotes consistency in execution across campuses and projects. This role partners with Engineering, Supply Chain, Contracts, Project Controls, Commissioning, Quality, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), Operations, and external delivery partners to ensure successful project delivery and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
Provide leadership, ownership, and accountability for the safe, predictable, and efficient delivery of large-scale datacenter construction programs across the assigned sub-region.
Lead construction teams and delivery partners to achieve portfolioobjectivesrelated to safety, quality, scope, schedule, budget, and operational readiness.
Develop andmaintainreporting processes that provide visibility into portfolio performance, risks, trends, and key business outcomes.
Lead project risk identification, mitigation planning,issueescalation, and governance processes across the sub-region.
Drive construction readiness activities including project planning, resource deployment, constructability reviews, execution planning, and delivery strategy alignment.
Partner with Engineering, Supply Chain, Contracts, Project Controls, Commissioning, Quality, Operations, and other stakeholders to ensure integrated project delivery.
Provide leadership oversight of contractors, consultants, suppliers, and other delivery partners to ensure contractual compliance and performance expectations are achieved.
Oversee project controls, commercial governance, budget management, forecasting, change management, and financial reporting activities.
Conduct regular site visits to assess project status, reinforce expectations,identifyemerging risks, and support project teams.
Lead portfolio review processes to evaluate project performance, risk profiles, mitigation plans, and delivery confidence.
Ensure project teams are prepared for commissioning, operational turnover, project closeout, and transition to operations.
Build organizational capability through workforce planning, succession planning, talent development, mentorship, and leadership coaching.

Qualifications
Required/ MinimumQualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field AND 12+ years data center/mission critical construction project management experience OR equivalent experience.
Abilityto meet Microsoft,customerand/or government security screening requirements arerequiredfor this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
Additional/Preferred qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field AND 15+ years data center/mission critical construction project management experience OR equivalent experience.
Experience leading large-scale capital construction programs with accountability for safety, quality, scope, schedule, cost, and business outcomes.
Experience leading geographically distributed construction organizations across multiple campuses, metros, regions, or countries.
Demonstrated success building, developing, and leading high-performing teams through talent development, succession planning, organizational growth, and change management.
Cross-functional leadership experiencewith the ability to influence and align stakeholders across Construction, Engineering, Supply Chain, Contracts, Project Controls, Commissioning, Quality, Operations, and external partners.
Experienceestablishingportfolio governance, risk management, performance reporting, and executive communication processes across multiple concurrent projects.
Commercial acumen with experience in contracting strategy, vendor performance management, change management, cost control, and claims avoidance.
Experience delivering complex, first-of-kind, accelerated, or high-risk projects whilemaintainingpredictable business outcomes.
Demonstrated ability to use data, metrics, and business insights to drive decisions, improve performance, and influence stakeholders.
Professional certifications such as DBIA (Design-Build Institute of America), PMP (Project Management Professional) , CCM (Certified Construction Manager), PE (Professional Engineer), LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), CQM (Construction Quality Management), or equivalent industry credentials.
