DaVita is seeking an analytical, collaborative, and execution-focused Senior Manager, Home Strategy & Operations to join our Home National team. In this role, you will own and drive key operational and analytical workstreams that support DaVita's broader enterprise Home growth strategy across Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) and Home Hemodialysis (HHD).

Working within a strategic framework, the Senior Manager will lead independent workstreams focused across core growth levers: New Starts (early patient education, nephrologist engagement support, and start pathways) and In-Center Conversions (modality choice education routines and transition workflows).

The Senior Manager will lead a small team of analysts and managers to generate actionable insights, develop operational collateral, and manage collaborative working relationships across Field operations and corporate functions (e.g., Clinical Enterprise, Integrated Kidney Care, Product, and Finance).

Why This Role Matters

Home dialysis is one of DaVita's top clinical and strategic priorities. Treating at home can offer kidney care patients greater independence, flexibility, and improved clinical outcomes.

This role serves as a vital bridge between national strategy and field execution. By translating strategic priorities into structured work plans, robust data insights, and practical tools, the Senior Manager enables field and clinical teams to expand patient access to home modalities and achieve sustainable Home modality growth.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Manager owns distinct aspects of the functional area, drives workstream delivery from inception to implementation, translates insights into operational action, and leads a small team of professionals.

1. Own Independent Workstreams within Home Growth Strategy
  • Workstream Execution: Own and manage day-to-day execution of assigned workstreams supporting national New Starts and Conversion goals under the guidance of department leadership.

  • Modality Choice Enablement: Support the physician and patient education programs, developing practical toolkits, process maps, and implementation resources for field operators.

  • Roadblock Resolution: Partner with clinical and operational teammates to identify local and systemic barriers to home adoption, and engage in structured problem-solving to design pragmatic solutions.

  • Best Practice Packaging: Identify best practices across high-performing regions and translate them into standardized, shareable resources and programs.

2. Operational Work Product & Deliverable Management
  • End-to-End Project Delivery: Structure, plan, and deliver project milestones on time, maintaining work plans, and cross-functional task alignment with limited supervision.

  • Operational Content Development: Create high-quality deliverables including job aides, playbooks, and teammate enablement materials.

  • Pilot Support & Implementation: Support the execution of operational and clinical pilots by establishing baseline tracking, coordinating rollout logistics, and monitoring operational adoption.

  • Sense-Making in Ambiguity: Navigate unstructured operational challenges, synthesize diverse inputs, and structure actionable step-by-step plans.

3. Analytics, Insights & Management Reporting
  • Data Synthesis & Trend Analysis: Lead analysis of new start trends, conversion pipeline velocity, modality education completion, and patient retention data to uncover operational opportunities.

  • Scorecards & Dashboards: Build, maintain, and enhance operational scorecards and reporting tools in collaboration with Finance and Analytics teams to track workstream progress and business impact.

  • Actionable Recommendations: Translate performance data into clear operational findings, recommending tactical adjustments to work plans and resourcing to leadership.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Field Partnership
  • Collaborative Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong working relationships across corporate functional teams (Clinical Enterprise, Integrated Kidney Care, Digital Product, People & Talent) and Field Operations leadership.

  • Two-Way Communication: Act as an accessible liaison between national workstreams and field operations teammates, gathering frontline feedback to ensure national tools remain operationally sound and user-friendly.

  • Structured Framing & Updates: Prepare clear, concise presentations, status summaries, and data visualizations for project working groups and leadership reviews.

5. Team Leadership & Talent Development
  • People Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of analysts and/or project managers, fostering a collaborative, accountable, and continuous-learning team environment.

  • Work Allocation & Quality Oversight: Direct team priorities, provide clear guidance and quality reviews on deliverables, and support teammates' individual development and career progression.

Success Measures

Success in this role will be demonstrated through:

  • Timely, high-quality execution and delivery of assigned workstream milestones and deliverables.

  • Measurable contribution to team-level Home new start and conversion performance metrics.

  • High engagement, performance, and professional development of direct reports (analysts/managers).
