Overview

Position Summary

As a Warehouse Supervisor you are responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring accurate and efficient inventory handling, shipping, receiving, and storage of goods. You will lead and supervise warehouse associates, maintain a safe and organized work environment, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

    Supervise daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, shipping, and inventory management.
  • Plan and coordinate labor resources to meet operational requirements and production schedules.
  • Monitor team performance, providing training, coaching, and corrective feedback as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, security, and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of warehouse transactions and inventory counts.
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Production, Procurement, Logistics) to meet organizational goals.
  • Operate or oversee the operation of material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment, inventory, and work areas.
  • Assist in process improvement initiatives to drive efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

  • 3+ years of warehouse experience, including at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Knowledge of warehouse processes, inventory systems, and shipping/receiving procedures.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and OSHA standards.
  • Proficiency in basic computer systems (e.g., warehouse management software, MS Office).

Preferred

  • Forklift certification.
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with diverse teams.

Work Environment & Physical Demands (Text Only)

Physical requirements and work environment expectations vary by position. Generally, roles at Prime Controls may involve moderate noise, occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions, and, depending on the role, work at heights or around airborne particles and electrical components.
