Location: Wichita, KS 67214 (2916 East Central Avenue)

Duration: 3+ Months

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM

Recommended pay per the HM is $17.75 and a 10% shift diff will be included after candidate starts.

The Accessioner I is responsible for processing laboratory specimens for clinical testing. This role involves receiving, verifying, and cataloging patient specimens (primarily blood) while maintaining accurate documentation and supporting laboratory operations.

• Receive and triage laboratory specimens for clinical testing.
• Process and accession patient specimens according to established procedures.
• Enter and manage clinical information within the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
• Verify specimen information for accuracy and completeness.
• Perform internal audits of clinical charts and documentation.
• Collaborate with laboratory staff and other departments to ensure testing accuracy.
• Maintain specimen integrity and follow laboratory quality standards.
• Adhere to all laboratory safety policies and procedures.

• 0-2 years of relevant work experience.
• Associate's (AS) or Bachelor's (BS) degree in Biological Sciences preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
