ARC, located in Greer SC, is an FAA-Certified Repair Station specializing in electrical and mechanical accessories for gas turbine engines, airframes and landing gear components. ARC develops technically challenging DER-approved repairs of precision assemblies, including heated latches, drain tubes, EGT harnesses and pressure transducers. Additionally, ARC develops repairs for easily damaged, yet economical to repair components, such as drain masts and air ducts. ARC also can provide contract reverse engineering and production capacity for the assembly and test of technical components.

The Quality Technician is responsible for the timely and efficient completion of a variety of daily functions related to all inbound and outbound processes as well as properly accounting for all inventory usage and totals.The Team Member's responsibilities include, but are not limited to the job duties listed below. Punctual and regular attendance is a requirement of this job. Team Member must also comply with the company drug and alcohol program.

Job Duties:



  • Assure continued compliance with FAA Repair Station Requirements.
  • Streamline and organize quality and customer documentation.
  • Inspection of Incoming Material.
  • Respond to and communicate with Customer Service on customer quality requests (Warranties, Scrap certs, RO or PO discrepancies, 8130 discrepancies, initial test results, etc.).
  • Final Inspection of outgoing product, BTP (build to print), and fabricated parts (Internal parts).
  • Manage quality documentation for all outgoing products.
  • Provide support for QA and Customer Service regarding internal communications and moving parts to Shop Floor.
  • Assist day to day inspector's work load requirement in conjunction with production needs.
  • Communicate with Customer Service on any QA needs.
  • Manage internal communications (internal routing, moving parts to SF, etc.).
  • Evaluate non-conforming materials, including analyzing the non-conformance for fit, function, safety, and reliability.
  • Perform reviews of first article inspections and documentation for dormancy and supplier changes of production parts.
  • Other related duties may be assigned.

Required Skills:



  • Must be detail oriented, organized and efficient, have the ability to work under pressure, problem solve, and balance workload with minimal supervision.

  • PC skills required - Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), and experience with resource planning software is desirable.
  • Must have strong communication skills both verbal and written. Be able to read and write English, understand and adhere to oral and written instructions, communicate in a clear and concise manner, and use basic math skills.
  • Must be able to pick up and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Must comply with DOT drug and alcohol policy.


Education/Experience:



  • Minimum of a high school education.
  • Manufacturing related experience is preferred.
  • Previous experience using MRP / ERP systems.
