Accounting Manager

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager that will be responsible for managing and overseeing certain financial activities. This role requires direct experience in the skilled nursing industry and familiarity with both owned and managed properties.

Essential Duties:

• Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparation of financial statements and reports.

• Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.

• Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards and regulations.

• Assist with audits and other financial reviews as needed.

• Support the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and control.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience, with a focus on the skilled nursing industry.

• Experience with multi-state financial operations and reporting.

• Strong knowledge of month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Experience overseeing third-party vendors for external AR processes.

• Familiarity with accounting for both owned and managed properties.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
