A Consumer Events and Concerts Manager job in Woodinville, WA is available at Chateau Ste. Michelle. The overall purpose of this position includes responsibility for developing and executing various winery experiences, managing our annual concert series, ensuring a high-end unique consumer experience for our club members, while supporting daily hospitality activities that drive sales results. The successful candidate will have leadership responsibility to bring memorable, remarkable, and shareable consumer experience to life at Chateau Ste. Michelle.

This role requires a flexible schedule to support events. During concert season, May through September, this schedule will require evening and weekend availability throughout the summer. This position is primarily onsite, with limited remote flexibility. Depending on business needs and event schedules, remote work may be available up to one day per week, though it is not guaranteed. Remote work once per week is more common during winter months, while spring and summer operations require a fully onsite presence.

Consumer Events and Concerts Manager job responsibilities include:



  • Develop, manage, and execute various winery experiences across all consumer channels, including consumer, corporate, club, concert, and retail events.
  • Support year-round music programming for Chateau Ste. Michelle, including local music offerings, fall and holiday programming, and management of all SMWE responsibilities related to the annual concert series.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with vendors, agencies, and external partners, including contract negotiation and relationship management.
  • Interface with Digital Marketing to coordinate print and web projects, including initiating job requests, proofing drafts, and tracking deadlines.
  • Oversee all aspects of event planning and execution, including operations, marketing support, logistics, onsite management, post-event evaluation, budget tracking, and invoice processing.
  • Partner with the Retail and Club Managers to establish event objectives, drive revenue, and support financial reporting and invoicing processes.
  • Collaborate closely with culinary team for all event programming.
  • Lead and oversee Event Specialist responsibilities, including private revenue-generating events, virtual tasting experiences, and other winery-specific event programming.
  • Plan and manage large scale events such as holiday programming, consumer case sales, employee functions, etc.
  • Engage and consult with the Compliance team as needed on new event concepts.
  • Support management of all internal VIP experiences for the Woodinville property year-round, including concert series trade guests and visits.


Physical Requirements:



  • Ability to sit at desk for extended period of time.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to move tables and chairs in and out of event spaces.
  • Ability to set up and breakdown event spaces.


Position Requirements:



  • Must be 21 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Events, and Retail Experiences preferred.
  • Class 12 MAST Permit and Food Handler's Permit required.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License.
  • Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience required, with at least 3 years of customer service and sales experience (retail/hospitality/winery preferred).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills that include public speaking.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to train others and monitor their performance and provide feedback in an events environment.
  • Advanced level of proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Must have an elevated level of ability for detail, organization, problem solving and personnel management with ability to pivot quickly based on needs of business.
  • History of responsible use of alcohol and other appropriate conduct, as well as fitness to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and/or local regulatory bodies.


    Your Compensation:

    $70,289.00 - $91,494.00 per year based upon relevant experience.
