Shape the Next Generation of AI and Cloud Infrastructure

Lenovo Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) is driving innovation at the forefront of AI, high-performance computing, and hyperscale cloud infrastructure. We are seeking an experienced System Lead to spearhead the design, development, and delivery of next-generation server platforms for the world's largest Cloud Service Providers (CSPs).

In this highly visible leadership role, you'll influence the future of data center architecture, working directly with industry-leading customers to develop cutting-edge compute, storage, GPU, and AI systems at massive scale. You'll partner with global engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to transform complex technical requirements into market-leading solutions that power tomorrow's cloud infrastructure.

What You'll Do

Lead Next-Generation System Architecture

  • Own the end-to-end system design and integration of advanced server platforms supporting cloud, AI, HPC, storage, and enterprise workloads.
  • Provide technical leadership across hardware, firmware, thermal, power, and software domains to deliver world-class solutions.
  • Drive architectural decisions that balance performance, scalability, reliability, and cost optimization.

Partner with the World's Largest Cloud Providers

  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to hyperscale customers, translating business and technical requirements into innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate directly with customer engineering teams to influence product direction and accelerate deployment readiness.
  • Lead technical discussions, design reviews, and issue resolution throughout the product lifecycle.

Deliver Complex Programs at Scale

  • Own technical execution for large, cross-functional initiatives from concept through production.
  • Identify risks early and drive mitigation strategies to ensure successful program delivery.
  • Coordinate across global engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to meet aggressive customer milestones.

Drive Innovation in AI and Data Center Infrastructure

  • Champion new technologies across CPUs, GPUs, AI accelerators, networking, cooling, and system management.
  • Influence product roadmaps and help define future server architectures for next-generation cloud and AI workloads.
  • Continuously improve engineering processes, tools, and methodologies to increase efficiency and product quality.

Ensure World-Class Quality and Compliance

  • Lead validation and integration efforts to ensure systems meet reliability, regulatory, and customer-specific requirements.
  • Support global certification activities and product readiness milestones.

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience in systems engineering, server architecture, platform engineering, or related infrastructure development.
  • Deep understanding of server technologies, including processors, memory, storage, networking, power, thermal, and system management.
  • Experience partnering with hyperscale cloud providers such as Microsoft, AWS, Google, Meta, or similar large-scale infrastructure organizations.
  • Proven track record leading complex cross-functional engineering programs from concept through deployment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive decisions.
  • Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
  • Fluent English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Intel, AMD, ARM, GPU, or AI accelerator technologies.
  • Knowledge of advanced cooling technologies, including liquid cooling and thermal optimization.
  • Familiarity with server validation, compliance, and certification processes (FCC, CE, UL, RoHS, etc.).
  • Experience with large-scale manufacturing and supply chain operations.
  • PMP, Agile, or equivalent project leadership certification.
  • Background in AI infrastructure, high-performance computing (HPC), or cloud platform development.
