As a Security Officer Armed Entry Officer in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. Join Allied Universal in a dynamic transportation location as an Armed Access Control Officer. In this role, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted transportation areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting activity and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to identify unusual activity, support security-related procedures, and report concerns promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Have 2 or more years of law enforcement, military, and/or corrections experience or a college degree.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
