Job Description




As a Security Officer / Dispatch in Monaca, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch Professional at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor activity, coordinate communications, and support timely responses to security-related concerns. You may conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Monitor radio, telephone, alarm, and/or camera systems from the dispatch post, receive incoming reports, and communicate security-related information to on-site personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Coordinate responses to incidents, equipment issues, and/or critical situations by dispatching appropriate personnel, relaying updates, and documenting activity in required logs and reports.
  • Maintain accurate records of calls for service, incident notifications, visitor and/or contractor activity, and other dispatch-related communications according to site procedures.
  • Support regular and random patrol activity by tracking officer status, relaying assignments, and helping to deter unauthorized activity through timely communication and attention to changing site conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
