As a Security Officer Driving Role Patrol Unit in Sterling, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading tech data center location as an unarmed driving post officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter incidents, and support a professional atmosphere through strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with local contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, grounds, and perimeter to help identify potential security-related concerns, unusual activity, and/or maintenance issues.
• Monitor entry points, restricted areas, and/or visitor activity in accordance with site policies, helping to support authorized access and proper credential verification.
• Assist with incident reporting, daily activity logs, and/or shift pass-down communication to help maintain awareness of ongoing security-related conditions at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
