What to Expect At Tesla Brooklyn Park, we design, build and service highly automated, high-volume manufacturing machinery that will help Tesla build a world of amazing abundance. Our location is currently looking for a highly motivated, "hands-on" individual Shipping and Receiving Associate. The role includes processing of incoming parts and maintaining inventory control using the company ERP system and will be essential in assisting with purchasing of a variety of commercial components (for special projects, sales orders, inventory, shop). The role will be responsible for driving to deliver and pick up from various vendors and some maintenance throughout our machine shop and facility. Shift: 08:00AM - 04:30PM; Monday - Friday What You'll Do Pick/pull/pack parts needed for Production and Engineering areas. Perform cycle counts or audits as needed Work closely with Material Planning, Inventory Control, Engineering, and Quality Control teams. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of assigned tasks. Support Warehouse Team best practices at all times Identify discrepant materials/components both in writing and verbally to supervisor Complete tasks as directed by warehouse schedules and within standard times. Maintain a clean and orderly work area. Ability to multi-task and coordinate tasks across multiple departments Ability to follow a required specific sequence of steps in a process repetitively for an extended period of time Demonstrated ability to perform standardized work process and defined work instructions.
