Your Impact at Syneos Health: Shaping the Neurology Patient Journey

As a Field Access Manager (FAM) at Syneos Health, you are the critical bridge between life-changing neurology treatments and the patients who need them. Navigating the complex reimbursement landscape isn't just about administrative tasks-it's about ensuring a patient dealing with complex neurological conditions experiences zero barriers to starting their therapy.

By educating healthcare providers, resolving complex specialty pharmacy bottlenecks, and managing key clinical accounts across the Chicago metro area, you will critically support the launch and sustained access of an innovative Neurology product, making a tangible difference in patient lives every single day.

A Day in the Life

  • Champion the Patient Journey: Educate patients and healthcare providers on available patient support programs and access resources. Proactively identify and resolve reimbursement bottlenecks (e.g., step therapy, denials) while coordinating with HUB services and specialty pharmacies to support a seamless onboarding experience and continuity of care.
  • Empower Clinical Teams: Serve as a trusted, consultative access partner for Sleep Specialists, Neurologists, Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), and office staff-providing comprehensive, targeted education on product coverage, payer requirements, prior authorizations, and appeals.
  • Cultivate Key Relationships: Build long-term partnerships and execute strategic account plans through targeted, in-person visits to Sleep Centers, Neurology practices, and Academic Medical Centers across your region.
  • Navigate Market Intelligence: Maintain deep regional and national payer policy expertise to serve as the local market access expert and communicate critical updates to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate and Document: Partner internally with field sales and market access groups to share regional insights, while documenting all interactions in the CRM to ensure 100% compliance with FDA, HIPAA, and company regulatory guidelines.

What You'll Bring

  • Education: BA/BS degree.
  • Industry Experience: 4+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industry.
  • Reimbursement Specialty: Minimum of 2 years of dedicated reimbursement experience.
  • Therapeutic Focus: Direct experience in the Neurology/CNS therapeutic space.
  • Channel Troubleshooting: Proven ability to solve access issues related to the specialty pharmacy channel.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills to build trust with high-level clinical accounts.
