Work Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.
____________________ Brief Description This position reports to the Quality Manager and is located at our gear manufacturing facility (Rexnord Aerospace, Precision Gear) in Twinsburg, OH. The Quality Engineer I will be high impact member in the Quality Department, working with a dedicated team to lead the organization in reduction of non-conformances, improving yield and reducing total cost of quality through scrap reduction and process capability studies. This position will implement projects and improvements that seek to identify, control, and resolve non-conformances at the source with a focus on continuous improvement and cost reduction. The ideal candidate will be highly collaborative, partnering with multi-discipline teams leveraging Lean methodologies to establish and drive quality goals and objectives throughout the manufacturing process. The ability to effectively engage in a dynamic environment and leverage lessons learned is critical. Excellent interpersonal skills are a must to build effective working relationships across production, engineering, purchasing and customer service. This position requires experience with using Excel to analyze data, applying Lean tools such as DMAIC and Pareto.
