Join our team and play a critical role in supporting patients, providers, and practice operations while helping ensure seamless care delivery. As a Practice Assistant III, you'll serve as a key resource within the practice, utilizing your expertise in scheduling, registration, and billing systems while supporting complex patient coordination, including surgical scheduling. What You'll Do -Coordinate patient appointments and maintain accurate scheduling records -Welcome patients and provide outstanding customer service throughout their visit -Answer incoming calls, assist with routine inquiries, and schedule appointments -Process patient forms, billing documentation, and updates to the electronic medical record -Serve as a subject matter expert for scheduling, registration, and billing systems -Coordinate complex scheduling activities, including surgical scheduling, provider schedule management, and template/block scheduling -Provide training, guidance, and day-to-day support to Practice and Office Assistants -Partner with leadership to help oversee daily practice operations and workflow -Manage messages and requests related to prior authorizations, prescription refills, provider inquiries, and test results -Collect co-payments when applicable What We're Looking For Experience in a healthcare, physician practice, or clinical office setting Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Experience with patient scheduling, registration, billing, and electronic medical records preferred Demonstrated ability to serve as a resource and mentor to team members Join a collaborative team dedicated to delivering outstanding care and making every patient interaction a positive experience.
