Job Summary The Manufacturing Operator II plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient production processes in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This full-time position involves operating and monitoring machinery, adhering to quality standards, and collaborating within the team to meet production goals. The ideal candidate demonstrates attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and a proactive approach to problem solving. Primary Duties Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment in accordance with established procedures and safety practices. Monitor the production line to ensure consistent product quality, identifying and addressing any deviations promptly. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery to minimize downtime. Collaborate with quality assurance to ensure all products meet company and regulatory standards. Document production activities and communicate issues or improvements to supervisors and team members. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and product quality. Adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines, promoting a safe working environment for all team members. Support training and mentoring of new operators, contributing to team knowledge and performance. Qualifications Demonstrated experience in operating manufacturing machinery or equipment, preferably in a similar industry. Strong understanding of safety protocols and quality control processes within a manufacturing setting. Ability to read and interpret technical documents, work orders, and process instructions. Proficient in documenting operational data accurately and communicating effectively within a team. Problem-solving skills with the capability to identify operational issues and contribute to their resolution. Physical stamina and dexterity required to handle equipment and stand for extended periods. Commitment to following standardized procedures and embracing continuous learning opportunities. Education / Experience A high school diploma or equivalent is generally required. Previous experience in manufacturing or industrial operations is preferred. Formal training or certifications related to machine operation or safety are advantageous. On-the-job training will be provided to develop specific skills relevant to the company's processes. The US base rate for this full-time position is 22.5. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will depend on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge and skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay equity. Compensation decisions are made based on the specific facts and circumstances of each role and candidate.
