Job Summary

The Manufacturing Operator II plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient production processes in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This full-time position involves operating and monitoring machinery, adhering to quality standards, and collaborating within the team to meet production goals. The ideal candidate demonstrates attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and a proactive approach to problem solving.

Primary Duties
  • Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment in accordance with established procedures and safety practices.
  • Monitor the production line to ensure consistent product quality, identifying and addressing any deviations promptly.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance to ensure all products meet company and regulatory standards.
  • Document production activities and communicate issues or improvements to supervisors and team members.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.
  • Adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines, promoting a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Support training and mentoring of new operators, contributing to team knowledge and performance.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in operating manufacturing machinery or equipment, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and quality control processes within a manufacturing setting.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, work orders, and process instructions.
  • Proficient in documenting operational data accurately and communicating effectively within a team.
  • Problem-solving skills with the capability to identify operational issues and contribute to their resolution.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity required to handle equipment and stand for extended periods.
  • Commitment to following standardized procedures and embracing continuous learning opportunities.
Education / Experience

A high school diploma or equivalent is generally required. Previous experience in manufacturing or industrial operations is preferred. Formal training or certifications related to machine operation or safety are advantageous. On-the-job training will be provided to develop specific skills relevant to the company's processes.

The US base rate for this full-time position is 22.5. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will depend on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge and skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay equity. Compensation decisions are made based on the specific facts and circumstances of each role and candidate.
