Position:Aviation Maintenance Pilot

Location: Honolulu, HI

Airframe:C90 and PC12

Schedule:TBD

Annual Salary:$100,000

TheAircraft Maintenance Pilot (AMP)assigned to a Guardian Flight Regional Maintenance Facility isprimarilyresponsible for performing maintenance check flights of companyaircraftand other duties as per the duties and responsibilities listedbelow.The AMP will report directly to theregional Director of Aviation-Flight Operations (DAFO) forall duties assigned. The AMPwill have a 'dotted line' relationship with theregional maintenance leadership for scheduling and tasking.

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • 14 CFR 135 IFR PilotInCommand(PIC)Qualifications as required by 14 CFR 135.243(c) (1,2,3)
  • Current First orSecond Class FAAMedical Certificate
  • 100 hoursas Pilot in Command of a Multi-Engine Airplane
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Valid and unexpired driver's license
  • Ability to interpret, apply, and effectively communicate complex technical data and processes associated withaircraftsystems
  • Ability and willingness toparticipatein the after-hours and on-call support ofaircraftoperational needs which may include travel and working some evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Possessstrongwork ethic, customer service skills, and the ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally
  • Ability to work in a team environment with an eagerness to contribute to the overall success of the Maintenance department and the Company

Preferred Qualifications

  • Valid and current FAA A&P License.
  • 100 hoursasPICin King Air or PC-12 modelaircraft
  • Experiencemaintaininggeneral aviation and/or turboprop poweredaircraft

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performspre-andpost-maintenancevisual inspections, ground runs, andoperational check flights (OCF) foraircraftundergoing scheduled and unscheduled maintenanceat regional maintenance facilities and in the field for troubleshooting and/orto ensureaircraftsystems are functioningin accordance withdesign specifications
  • Performsaircraftrepositionflights as required foraircraftmaintenance andto supportoperational needs
  • Ensuresaircraftquality and operational readiness after undergoing maintenance to include interior and exterior cosmetic items, emergency equipment and basic medical supplies, company and regulatory requirements, interior and exterior cleanliness, and other return to service items asrequired
  • Ensures compliance with updates and revisions of Electronic Flight Bags, Pilot Operating Handbooks,AircraftFlight Manuals,AircraftWeight and Balance records, and Pilot Guides foraircraftbeing returned to service after a scheduled periodic inspection event
  • Maintainsaccuratecompany and regulatory documentation and record keeping for risk assessment, shifts, load manifests,etc
  • Interacts and collaborates with the Maintenance, Operations, Dispatch, Quality Assurance,and Safety departments
  • Maintainsrequired certifications, ongoinggroundand air training, with an emphasis onaircraftsystems training
  • Other duties as assigned

Working Conditions

  • Required to work in outside weather conditions
  • Must be able to work night, day, and overnight shifts as assigned
  • May need todeicethe plane,assistwith towing theaircraftand maneuvering in and out of the hangar, prep the plane for flight
