The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) - Trauma will work closely with orthopedic trauma surgeons to manage patients with acute musculoskeletal injuries such as fractures, dislocations, and soft tissue trauma. Provides care to patients with severe injuries, including patient assessments, coordination of care, discharge and referrals, surgical first assist, post-operative care, and communication with trauma team. This is a full-time position based at our Plymouth Bass Lake Campus. This role will require Monday - Friday availability with on-call responsibility. Must be flexible to float to other Summit locations as needed. Other primary sites will likely include Eagan, Eden Prairie, Forest Lake, Lakeville, Maple Grove, Vadnais Heights, and Woodbury, MN (subject to change). This position will also include some hospital coverage.
Summit's hiring range for this position is $99,286 to $124,108 per year. The hired candidate may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, differentials and/or deferred compensation. Masters of Physician Assistant (required)
Experience
One year of experience as a Physician Assistant preferably in orthopedics. (required)
PA - certification by the NCCPA, licensure or eligible for licensing as a Physician Assistant in the state of MN (required) Equal Opportunity Employer
