The Secrets Management and PKI team of the Identity division in Microsoft's Security, Compliance, Identity, and Management organization is responsible for ensuring customers trust Microsoft's cloud platform. We are building highly reliable, scalable, and secure services and infrastructure that underpin everything that our customers depend upon. We are looking for a Software Engineer II to join our team. We're looking for smart, curious, passionate software engineers and engineering leaders who want to apply their experience and skills to create something new that our business and customers need. Specifically, we are transforming our adoption of confidential computing for hardening our runtime and preventing credential theft and also working towards a post-quantum ready platform. You'll be a technical leader in a team of engineers to deliver the technical design and implementation of critical capabilities, and you'll ensure the highest quality for features and engineering systems. You'll have a meaningful and visible impact on reliability of services across Microsoft.

There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,800 - $219,200 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
