We are looking for an organized, collaborative, and detail-orientedOperations Scheduling Coordinatorto play a critical role in optimizing operational activities and ensuring work is planned, scheduled, and executed safely and efficiently. In this role, you will work closely with Operations, Maintenance, Field Teams, Contractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate resources, prioritize work, and support the successful execution of operational and maintenance plans.

What You Will Do:
  • Coordinate and dispatch daily field operations activities, prioritizing work assignments and responding to emergency service requests.

  • Schedule and align operational work with customer line-location requests, excavation projects, meter work, and construction activities.

  • Resolve customer and operational issues by addressing service order discrepancies, address and mapping errors, and Customer Care requests.

  • Support commercial and residential meter set processes, service line modifications, and main extension projects through accurate documentation and coordination.

  • Maintain operational records by issuing and completing service orders, processing city clearances, and managing emergency and safety-related documentation.

  • Generate reports and provide administrative support for field operations, ensuring data accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Who You Are:
  • High School diploma or equivalent & minimal experience required.

  • Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and computerized business systems.

  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, perform effectively in fast-paced environments, and make sound decisions under pressure.

  • Capable of providing clear instructions, resolving issues and customer concerns with minimal supervision, and evaluating outcomes.

  • Flexibility to support on-call rotations, shift work, weekends, holidays, and emergency operational requirements as needed.

Working Environment:
  • Office environment

Physical Requirements (Include but are not limited to):

Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Mental Requirements (Both field & office) include but are not limited to:

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
