Salary range:
The posted UC Salary Scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5. The salary range for this position is $146,700-$442,800. This position includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan, which provides for eligibility for additional compensation. Application Window Open date: July 1, 2026 Next review date: Friday, Jul 31, 2026 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Wednesday, Dec 30, 2026 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description The Division of Rheumatology in the Department of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA is recruiting full-time clinician educators in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor series at the Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or full Professor ranks. Practices include San Luis Obispo, Ventura, and Westwood area. Responsibilities include a minimum of 36 hours per week of direct patient care; clinical teaching of medical students, residents, and/or fellows; participation in creativity in a variety of professional activities including those that may involve teaching, scholarly contributions and administration; and participation in university or public service. Candidates must have an M.D., D.O., or equivalent and must be board-eligible or board-certified in Rheumatology. Candidates must have completed Rheumatology training by June 30, 2026. Academic rank and salary are commensurate with level of experience.
