Overview
Summary The Revenue Operations Business Partner is a key operational partner to the C1 Sales organization and a core member of the Revenue Operations function. This role is responsible for driving disciplined execution across the revenue lifecycle, including sales process adherence, forecasting rigor, pipeline health, CRM data integrity, reporting accuracy, and operational insights within the assigned segment or region. The Revenue Operations Business Partner operates as an embedded individual contributor, partnering closely with Sales leadership to improve predictability, productivity, and decisionmaking while ensuring segment or regional execution aligns with enterprise Revenue Operations standards. The role focuses on inspection, enablement, and optimization rather than people management. This position delivers actionable insights, operational structure, and analytical support to Sales leaders, enabling consistent execution against the operating model defined by Revenue Operations. All responsibilities are executed in collaboration with the broader Revenue Operations team to ensure consistency, scalability, and alignment across the company. #LI-JM1
Responsibilities
Essential Functions Revenue Process Execution and Governance
Implements, reinforces, and optimizes standardized revenue and sales processes within the assigned segment or region
- Ensures consistent definitions and usage of pipeline stages, forecast categories, commit criteria, and CRM hygiene standards
- Conducts regular process and data inspections; partner with Sales leadership to address gaps, risks, or inconsistencies
- Supports onboarding and enablement of sellers, sales leaders, and support teams on Revenue Operations processes and expectations
Forecasting Discipline and Pipeline Health
- Facilitates the weekly forecasting cadence for the assigned segment or region, ensuring data integrity, structured deal inspection, and consistent methodology
- Monitors pipeline health indicators including coverage, aging, push risk, conversion trends, and deal velocity
- Prepares segment or regionspecific forecast summaries, risk assessments, and insights for EVPs, RVPs, and leadership reviews
- Provide datadriven recommendations to improve forecast accuracy, confidence, and predictability
Reporting, KPIs, and Revenue Analytics
- Maintains and distributes dashboards covering pipeline, bookings, forecast variance, productivity, and performance KPIs for the assigned segment or region
- Analyzes trends across bookings, pipeline creation, conversion rates, and seller productivity
- Supports QBRs, MBRs, and strategic performance deep dives with actionable insights
- Ensures all reporting aligns to enterprise definitions, metrics, and governance standards established by Revenue Operations
CRM, Tools, and Revenue Systems Optimization
- Drives adoption and effective use of CRM workflows and revenue systems across the assigned segment or region
- Performs regular CRM audits to ensure data quality, completeness, and forecast readiness
- Identifies workflow gaps or inefficiencies; collaborate with Revenue Operations and Systems teams on enhancements
- Acts as the first escalation point for segment or regionlevel CRM, forecasting, and reporting issues
Revenue Operations Business Partnership
- Serves as the primary Revenue Operations partner to segment or regional EVPs, RVPs, and Sales Directors
- Provides insights and recommendations across segmentation, territory coverage, pipeline strategy, and productivity trends
- Supports sales planning, operational readiness, and business rhythm activities
- Balances enterprise consistency with segment or regional needs while maintaining adherence to Revenue Operations standards
CrossFunctional Revenue Alignment
- Partners with Finance, Services, Strategy, IT, Marketing, and other teams to resolve operational issues impacting revenue execution
- Supports alignment across compensation inputs, territory planning, quota coverage, and GTM readiness
- Surfaces systemic issues, risks, and opportunities to the Revenue Operations organization for continuous improvement
- Participates in crossfunctional initiatives focused on forecast integrity, margin awareness, data quality, and operational efficiency
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5-7+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Business Operations, or a related function
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret pipeline trends, forecast performance, and productivity metrics
- Proven experience supporting segment or regionbased sales organizations
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and BI tools (Power BI, Qlik, or similar)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights
- Ability to manage competing priorities with discipline, accuracy, and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating in multisegment or multiregion sales environments
- Familiarity with standardized forecasting methodologies and sales execution frameworks
- Exposure to OEMdriven, managed services, or professional services sales motions
