Summary
Supervise and independently perform studies to advance the goals of the principal investigator's research projects. Perform experiments, analyze data and compile results and monitor quality control processes to ensure integrity of research. Research Scientist assisting with clinical research projects in the fields of autonomic neuroscience, disorders of gut-brain interaction, and non-invasive neuromodulation therapies under the supervision and mentoring of PI. The Research Scientist will join an expanding, NIH-funded and nationally recognized research team performing cutting-edge clinical research studies in the field of pediatric Neurogastroenterology. The Research Scientist will be able to work independently to use fundamental and advanced concepts, practices, and procedures of particular field of specialization to perform more complex scientific research. These include clinical and physiologic data collection and organization, assisting with analysis of cardiovascular metrics, imaging data, clinical and behavioral data as well as manuscript writing.
