At FSB Architects + Engineers, technology is a critical component of how we design, collaborate, and deliver projects. As our teams continue to advance their use of Building Information Modeling (BIM), digital workflows, and cloud-based collaboration tools, we're seeking a BIM Support Specialist to help support and enhance those technologies across the firm. This role serves as a key connection between the Information Technology Department (IT) and our architecture and engineering teams, providing day-to-day support for BIM software, digital design platforms, collaboration environments, and technology workflows. Working closely with the IT Department, BIM Employee Resource Group (ERG), and project teams, you'll help ensure employees have the tools, resources, and support needed to work efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for BIM and digital design platforms including Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), BIM 360, Bluebeam, Autodesk for Government (AFG), Revu, Newforma, SketchUp, Enscape, Lumion, and other firm supported technologies.
- Troubleshoot software, model, licensing, and collaboration issues while partnering with IT staff, software vendors, and project teams to resolve technical challenges.
- Assist with software installations, upgrades, deployment, configuration, and license management for BIM related applications.
- Support Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), BIM 360, and other project collaboration environments, including project setup, user access, permissions, model management, work-sharing, file organization, and digital collaboration workflows.
- Maintain BIM templates, family libraries, content libraries, standards, and shared digital resources.
- Partner with the IT Department and BIM ERG to evaluate, test, and deploy new technologies, software updates, plugins, and workflow enhancements.
- Develop and maintain user guides, support documentation, knowledge base articles, and training materials.
- Assist with onboarding and training efforts related to BIM software, digital tools, and collaboration platforms.
- Monitor support requests, identify recurring issues, and recommend process improvements that enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of firmwide BIM standards, digital workflows, collaboration platforms, and technology initiatives.
- Serve as a technical resource to the BIM ERG and collaborate with project teams to identify opportunities for technology improvements and workflow efficiencies.

Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Technology, Information Technology, or other closely related field required.
- 2+ years of experience supporting BIM software, design technology platforms, or AEC related technologies.
- Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit and familiarity with BIM coordination, model management, and digital collaboration workflows.
- Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), BIM 360, Navisworks, Bluebeam Revu, Newforma, and related AEC technologies preferred.
- Understanding of architectural and engineering project workflows and multidisciplinary project delivery processes.
- Experience providing technical support, software administration, troubleshooting, onboarding, or end user training.
- Strong organizational, analytical, customer service, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer.
- Visual acuity to review digital models, technical documentation, and software configurations.
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry equipment or materials up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to travel occasionally between office locations to provide support, training, or technology implementation assistance.
