Coordinates the wide array of material management duties necessary to expedite supply transactions and satisfy NASA customer requirements. Assists in resolving customer inquiries and maintaining accountability of stocked and purchased materials in support of customers. Duties and Responsibilities
* Processes customer orders from the MOSI system and enters orders into the Advanced Materials Management System (AMMS) * Processes Project Purchase Requisition from MOSI, enters requisitions into AMMS, and coordinates with the Project Material Coordinators * Responds to customer inquiries on order status * Serves as the main focal point of contact for customer relations, and acts as liaison between the customer and other company personnel * Responds to customer/Resource Analyst request for reports from AMMS * Monitors MOSI system to ensure timely processing and provides MOSI reports as required * Serves as the primary contact for AMMS Customer Service Desk * Serves as a back-up Material Coordinator for all commodity teams as needed * Coordinates and expedites flow of material between central receiving, commodity managers, buyers, transportation personnel, and customers * Identifies and locates received and overdue material required to meet the customer's needs and coordinates the processing of that material as required * Performs technical research on material, supplies and services and catalogs stock numbers in the Advanced Materials Management System (AMMS) as needed * Performs follow-up action with customers to ensure accuracy and completion of work * Provides order status information to customers when requested * Works with Acquisition Specialists to expedite requisitions and delinquent purchase order deliveries * Coordinates the resolution of discrepancies between the Acquisition Specialists and customer as needed * Processes all necessary transactions in AMMS as required in the performance of the job * Works within the general framework of established work instructions, procedures, and policies * Assists Procurement Supervisor and Supply Branch Manager as necessary * Performs other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Qualifications
* Must have a minimum of three years' experience working in the Project or Inventory Management and Supply Operation arena, preferably with or in support of government projects or programs; college credits may be substituted for experience * Ability to be trained and certified in electrostatic discharge procedures * Must be detail-oriented, highly motivated, can multi-task and work independently, and be able to work in a teamwork environment * Demonstrate proficiency in the use of standard office equipment, including multifunction devices and personal computers * Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and SharePoint with the ability to efficiently produce and manage documents and data

Rate of Pay/Benefits
$28.92-$35.00/hr
