Our facility in Belleville is now looking for a Associate Assembler 1.

Hourly Pay: $17.50/hr
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday, 6:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Hours:
40 hours per week
Overtime:
Available based on business needs
Position Type:
Fulltime, nonexempt

Key Tasks
Job Purpose
The
purpose of this position is to assemble and ensure quality products are
produced in the assembly department.This is a position with high variance in daily work and requires a
high level of adaptability. This
position will be trained on position within the assigned department within 30
days of hire.

Essential Job Results:
Must
always perform at an acceptable quality and productivity level to meet
established goals per work instructions.
Must work in a
safe manner and always follow company rules.
Identify non-conforming parts and fill
out tags and place any non-conforming parts in the red bins for quality
evaluation.

Secondary Job Results:
Keep the
department clean and help maintain 5S standards.
Maintaining a good attendance record
to ensure team accomplishes related results.
Train when
needed.

Contributes to
team effort by:

Maintaining
a good attendance record; accomplishing related results as needed; being
cross trained on multiple positions to allow for rotating job duties as
needed.

Your Background

You have a High School education level or equivalent education.
Associate must be skill checked on 1 position within the assigned department within 30 days of hire.
Ability to speak, read, and write clearly.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to use common sense to solve problems.
Very slight amount required with basic computer operation skills.
Handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Good hand-eye coordination; ability to work under pressure quickly and accurately; ability to work primarily as a single unit but in cooperation with the team.
