Job Description: Work Location: Fargo Corporate Office Work Location Type: On-Site Hours: 8-5 M-F The Project Manager II is responsible for independently leading project teams in the delivery of medium to moderately complex projects by applying and adapting established project management procedures and best practices to achieve successful outcomes for the Bank.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Facilitate project meetings, drive alignment on decisions, actions, and next steps, and manage stakeholder expectations by escalating issues and changes when appropriate. Develop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, and status reports to ensure alignment with project objectives and timelines. Lead planning, execution, and delivery of medium to moderately complex projects throughout the project lifecycle, including project scope, schedule, resources, cost, and changes. Apply established project management processes, standards, and tools, while identifying opportunities for process improvement. Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely resolution within defined scope and escalation of higher-risk items. Monitor and manage vendor deliverables during project implementations. Prepare status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information. Lead cross-functional project teams and drive accountability for project deliverables and timelines, demonstrating ownership of project outcomes.
Other Duties:
Build and maintain effective working relationships with team members, leaders, customers, and external partners. Demonstrate reliability and accountability in attendance to support operational needs and service expectations. Comply with all Gate City Bank policies, procedures, and all applicable laws and regulations. Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all responsibilities. Exercise sound judgment and make timely decisions in a fastpaced environment.
QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree (B.A.); 4-6 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Other Skills:
Demonstrated ability to independently manage medium to moderately complex projects, including project scope, schedule, resources, risks and dependencies. Proven ability to coordinate and lead cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities. Experience managing projects in a technology or banking environment preferred.
Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred or ability to obtain within 12 months of employment. EOE/including Disability/Vets Member FDIC
