Position Details

• Job Title: Maintenance Porter Associate
• Location: West Los Angeles
• Schedule: Part-Time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM
• Pay Rate: $18.42 per hour

LAZ Parking is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Maintenance Porter Associate to ensure our parking garages and surface lots remain clean, safe, and well-maintained. This role combines facility maintenance responsibilities with customer service support, requiring an individual who can work independently while maintaining a high standard of professionalism.

• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of parking garages and surface lots on a daily basis.
• Sweep, clean, and sanitize assigned areas.
• Empty trash receptacles and remove litter throughout the property.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks, including:
  
  
  
  • Changing light bulbs
  • Painting
  • Wiping down equipment and surfaces
  
  
  
  
• Assist with sidewalk, garage, and common area upkeep.
• Operate floor sweepers and scrubbers as needed to maintain clean and safe conditions.
• Complete all daily maintenance checklist tasks accurately and on time.

• Assist customers within garages and surface lots as needed.
• Respond to customer inquiries through intercom systems, parking office interactions, lobby areas, and exit/entry lanes.
• Maintain a professional, friendly, and helpful attitude at all times.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly and efficiently.
• Build positive relationships with customers by delivering exceptional service.

• Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management.

• Minimum 1 year of maintenance, janitorial, porter, or related experience.

• Ability to speak, read, and understand English.
• Strong decision-making skills and ability to work independently.
• Demonstrates urgency, reliability, and strong time-management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
• Comfortable working with minimal supervision.
• Strong commitment to customer service and professionalism.

• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
• Ability to frequently bend, stoop, squat, and lift throughout a shift.
• Ability to safely operate maintenance equipment and a golf cart.
