- Location: Luxury Hotel in Pasadena, CA
- Position Schedule: Part-Time // Shifts start times vary, MUST be available to work weekends and late nights.
- Pay Rate: $18.57 per hour + Cash Tips (at select locations)

Position Summary
A LAZ Valet Attendant plays a key role in creating an exceptional customer experience. As the first and last point of contact for guests, Valet Attendants are responsible for delivering outstanding customer service while safely parking and retrieving vehicles in a professional, efficient, and courteous manner.
A warm welcome, positive attitude, and professional appearance are essential to success in this role.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Welcome guests upon arrival and departure.
- Greet customers professionally and provide exceptional customer service.
- Build positive relationships with guests by anticipating and responding to their needs.
- Open and close vehicle doors for guests upon arrival and departure.
- Assist guests with luggage as needed.
- Provide clear instructions regarding the valet process and vehicle retrieval procedures.
- Direct traffic to maintain a safe and organized flow of vehicles.
- Issue valet tickets and accurately explain the retrieval process.
- Safely park and retrieve guest vehicles in a timely and efficient manner.
- Turn off vehicles and secure keys according to company procedures.
- Maintain awareness of surrounding vehicles, pedestrians, and property to ensure a safe environment.
- Support daily parking operations and follow all company policies and procedures.
- Work independently and as part of a team to ensure operational excellence.
- Promote a positive image of LAZ Parking through professionalism and exceptional service.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required
- Valid driver's license with a minimum of two (2) years of licensed driving experience.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and late-night shifts as required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and management.
Preferred
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous valet, parking, hospitality, customer service, or related experience.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions, including heat, wind, rain, and other environmental conditions.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods of time.
- Ability to frequently bend, stoop, squat, and lift throughout a shift.
