Position: Ecommerce Warehouse Coordinator

Department: Donated Goods Retail

Reports to: Regional Ecommerce Manager

Status: Non-Exempt

Summary

To perform a variety of warehouse and Ecommerce duties and responsibilities to ensure the consistent flow and accurate documenting of materials through the Ecommerce department. Duties vary and the Ecommerce Warehouse Coordinator may be assigned to assist Ecommerce Associates, Ecommerce Production Manager and Ecommerce Customer Service Coordinator in various capacities in order to perform whatever duties are required for the seamless flow of product and labor within the Ecommerce department.

Duties and Responsibilities



  • Coordinate, facilitate and execute the flow of all Ecommerce items throughout the warehouse and Ecommerce Area, including all containers related to Ecommerce items.
  • Responsible for all product staging and determine resolution for product movement issues and logistics.
  • Work with and maintain relationships with distribution center staff to achieve optimal product flow.
  • Performs the following duties to include, but not limited to:

    • Moving non posted items in containers from stores to staged area for posting.
    • Coordinating movement of containers from stores to maintain accurate "first in/first out" system.
    • Test all electronics items and assign to associate as needed.
    • Partner with Outlet and Central Processing personnel to coordinate flow of product between departments.
    • Ascertain whether certain items should be posted due to size, weight or other factors and properly distributed.
    • Monitor shelf storage space to ensure load stability and weight distribution accurately.
    • Maintain area including empty trash receptacles within the Ecommerce area; including cleanliness and organization throughout the Ecommerce area.


  • Monitor shelf storage space for posted items and alert leadership to current needs.
  • Strategize with leadership for efficiency in product movement and staging.
  • Post product for online sales as needed to include but not limited to photography, packing, picking and shipping.
  • Assist and reports Loss Prevention issues to the LP Department and Regional Ecommerce Manager.
  • May be assigned to lead the team on special assignments as needed.
  • Present an appropriate appearance and demonstrate exceptional customer service to all internal and external customers.
  • Promote an environment of workplace safety. Perform all duties in a safe manner and report issues to the Safety Department and Regional Ecommerce Manager.
  • Communicates progress, problems and concerns to the Ecommerce Production Manager and Regional Ecommerce Manager.

Qualifications

Education and Experience



  • No formal education necessary
  • Eighteen (18) months of experience in ecommerce or warehouse environment required.


Skills/Abilities/Qualifications



  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively with general public as well as interdepartmental communication.
  • Past leadership is not required but is preferred.
  • Must be able to work with power equipment such as forklift, tipper and or pallet jack, operating equipment following all safety guidelines at all times.
  • Must have the flexibility to work overtime and varied hours to include Saturdays and Sundays.
  • This is a safety sensitive position and employee must:

    • Pass a drug test pre-hire, post-accident or work-related injury




Physical Requirements



  • Ability to work in all weather extremes.
  • Ability to work around dust, dirt, fumes and varied noise levels.
  • Ability to walk and stand for a full day.
  • Ability to stand continuously for more than 75% of the shift.
  • Ability to climb, stoop, crouch, reach, and bend.
  • Ability to bend, kneel and stoop to open and close doors and secure loads for 10% of the shift.
  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds frequently and 100 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to push and pull various carts requiring a force of 50 pounds a distance of 150 feet for 25% of the shift.
  • Ability to push and pull manual pallet jacks with gaylords or other material requiring an initial force of 60 pounds and distance of 100 feet for 25% of the shift.
  • Ability to push and pull the speed lift requiring an initial force of 60 pounds a distance of 20 feet up to four times per shift.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds from ground level to waist level frequently for more than 75% of the shift.
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds from ground level to waist level once per shift.
  • Ability to step up 24 inches at a time onto forklifts steps for 10% of the shift.
  • Visual and hearing acuity (with correction) that meets standard vision and hearing test criteria.
