The Maintenance Planner is responsible for delivering routine planning services that support a proactive maintenance culture across all functional maintenance tasks. This role ensures the development of high-quality maintenance plans and job packages to enable the effective execution of both preventive and corrective maintenance activities. A strong emphasis is placed on safety and environmental compliance, achieved through thorough job safety analyses, method statements, and the identification of necessary permitting requirements. The Maintenance Planner plays a key role in establishing and maintaining a sufficient backlog to support the plant's scheduling needs, while also monitoring planning accuracy to drive continuous improvement, particularly for repetitive tasks. Additionally, this position contributes to the development of asset Bills of Material (BOMs) to enhance planning and execution efficiency and maintains a comprehensive library of job task lists to streamline the planning process for recurring maintenance work. Required Education & Experience
Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's Degree Years of Experience: 2-4 years Field of Expertise: 2+years maintenance planning or 7+ years industrial maintenance; Maintenance and/or Engineering Preferred Education & Experience
Specialized Degree: Associates or Bachelors Degree Licenses/Certificates: Certified Maintenance Planner (CMP) or equivalent certification Years of Experience: 5-7 Years Field of Expertise: 5+ Years maintenance planning; Maintenance and/or Engineering Spans of Control
