The Mobility Engineer - EOS Firmware Subject Matter Expert (SME) is a technical leadership role within Econolite's Professional Services Group, responsible for onsite, full-time support at the Miami-Dade Traffic Management Center (TMC) in support of the Countywide Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS) deployment. This role is aligned with Task Group 1 (Traffic Signal Controller and Local Controller Software) and serves as the designated Controller Expert Staff, providing real-time expertise in EOS firmware, controller operations, system integration, and field deployment support. The SME ensures that all controller deployments, configurations, and operational behaviors meet contract requirements, safety standards, and performance expectations, while enabling successful system acceptance and long-term operational success. A defining expectation of this role is that each deployed intersection operates safely, correctly, and in full compliance with Miami-Dade County standards, with rapid issue resolution and clear documentation.
