Description & Requirements Job Description
(multiple openings) Responsible for working on large scale new engineering procurement construction projects consisting of state-of-the-art cutting-edge technology in battery production; collaborating with the Industrialization Team, Construction, Finance, Supply Chain, and various other internal stakeholders; providing support to purchasing activities and ensuring compliance with company procurement policies and requirements; creating and establishing procurement strategy on related construction services, engineering, and materials based on the project's construction plan in reverse order; stay up to date with the latest market trends and continuous sourcing for the best products and services for the business with the most reasonable prices; utilize and apply knowledge of indirect procurement strategy plan development/execution, MEP/CSA technical construction procurement, large industrial construction projects, end-to-end sourcing/procurement processes, data analytics, KPI management, procurement budgeting, cost modeling, global supplier sourcing/coordination, greenfield/brownfield construction projects procurement support, employee oversight/management to accomplish necessary tasks; organizing bidding and tendering, vender bidding, and nomination activities; managing vendor contracts and track vendor payments, as well as renegotiate business plans based on project adjustments; use SAP to manage PR/PO processes and requirements based on output of above; identifying cost-saving solutions to enable company industrial development; collaborating with global suppliers and vendors and identify strategies to scale second product development; and coordinate and provide support to global plant launch equipment and global direct material related project issues. Location: Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and multiple undetermined worksites throughout the US; Salary: $145,000 per year #LI-DNI Education: Bachelors - Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree); Training: None; Experience: Two (2) years in the position above, as a Project Manager, as a Purchasing Supervisor, as a Procurement Manager, as Head of Procurement and Contracts, as a Deputy Manager - Procurement, as a Project Engineer, or in a related occupation; Other Requirements: Experience must include two (2) years use of all the following: indirect procurement strategy plan development/execution, MEP/CSA technical construction procurement, large industrial construction projects, end-to-end sourcing/procurement processes, data analytics, KPI management, procurement budgeting, cost modeling, global supplier sourcing/coordination, greenfield/brownfield construction projects procurement support, employee oversight/management, and SAP to manage PR/PO processes.
