Microsoft Cloud Operations and Innovation (CO&I) is the team behind the cloud.Within CO&I, theEngineering Procurement & Construction (EPC)organizationis responsible fordelivering core datacenter infrastructure for Microsoft's cloud business. The MS portfolio consists of complex, multi-disciplinary, large scale, multi-year datacenter construction and lease projects. We are looking for a passionate, high-energy individual to help buildthe clouddatacenters that power the world's largest online services. The Equipment Sourcing & Procurement Manager for Skidding & Modularizationis responsible fordeveloping and executing sourcing strategies for pre-assembled, skid-mounted, and modular data center infrastructure systems. This role ensures continuity of supply, cost optimization, supplier performance, and risk mitigation to support the delivery of modular and skidded electrical and mechanical systems across hyperscale data center programs. The position partners closely with Engineering,Category Management,Construction, Capacity Planning,& Financeto forecast demand, negotiateproject levelagreements, manage vendor relationships, and ensure thetimelydelivery of factory-built, site-ready equipment packages to data center sites across the Americas. "This roleis locatedinRedmond, WA Relocation support will be provided, and successful candidates must relocateorresidewithin 50 miles ofRedmond, WA,office location. Sourcing Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800.00 - $234,700.00 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $160,200.00 - $261,000.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
