Job Title: Fill/Pack Operator
Location: Walpole, MA
Employment: Contract with potential to convert
Industry: Manufacturing
Compensation: $21.00/hr.
Schedule: 40 hours/week - 2 nd shift
3PM - 11:30PM
About the Opportunity:
  • This is an entry-level role that will provide training and the opportunity to work for a global company with a highly regulated work environment.
  • A production worker completes a wide variety of production and manufacturing-related tasks in Fill/Pack Finished Production Areas.
  • This role will be involved in manufacturing medical diagnostic test kits.

What You'll Do:
  • Operate the fill production manufacturing equipment.
  • Inspect and package finished product.
  • Verify raw materials to ensure batches manufactured contain correct components and quantities.
  • Assist and partner with support personnel to troubleshoot manufacturing-related issues.
  • Follow production area procedures and area guidelines as written.
  • Comply with quality system and regulatory agencies: FDA, ISO, OSHA, etc.
  • Follow all area safety rules and procedures.
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of experience in Fill/Pack Finished Production Areas.

  • Willing to learn new processes/functions.
  • Strong communicator.
  • Team player.
  • Experiences include FDA Regulated Facility, Production/Manufacturing environment, Manufacturing equipment operation, Good Documentation Practices, good manufacturing practices, PC Skills (MS Office Software, Outlook, Word, Documentum, etc.)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and machines.
  • Fast learner.
  • Technical aptitude with labeling equipment.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Additional Information:
  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check.
  • Position needs the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, gloves, lab coats, and safety shoes.
  • The client will provide PPE.
  • Individuals will be needed to use a perch stool or stand in a fixed position for long periods of time.
  • Position needs lifting materials to 50 lbs.
  • Based on business needs, individuals may be needed to work overtime or may be asked to modify their work hours.
