Location: Rosedale Office BuildingDepartment: Revenue CycleShift: First Shift (United States of America)Standard Weekly Hours: 40Summary: The Senior Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer ("SVP-CRO"), a key member of the Finance leadership team, has shared accountability for organizational success and is charged with planning, directing and evaluating the key aspects of the revenue cycle process for Cook Children's Health Care System ("CCHCS"). The SVP-CRO delivers optimal and timely patient financial information to produce accurate claims and billing statements, assure regulatory compliance, and secure appropriate reimbursement. The SVP-CRO is subject matter expert, thought leader and strategic partner who collaborates with the System, hospital, and physician leadership to enhance revenue cycle outcomes fostering excellent interdepartmental relations and confidence in the revenue cycle. The SVP-CRO guides and oversees a team of executives responsible for developing and implementing the goals and objectives, strategic initiatives, projects, policies & procedures, and technologies needed to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the System's revenue cycle activities. The SVP-CRO has wide authority and relies on experience and judgement to accomplish goals and effectively lead the Hospital Patient Access Services (including Financial Counseling), Hospital Billing & Collections (including hospital-based physician clinics), Physician Billing & Collections, Accounts Receivable Management, Revenue Integrity & Clinical Denials, Single Billing Office, Payor Relations, and Case Management.
