Position Summary
The University of Illinois College of Medicine/University of Illinois Hospital & Health Sciences System Department of Radiology seeks candidates for an open-rank faculty position in Pediatric Radiologist to meet the needs of patient care.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Participation in direct patient care
  • Involvement in the formal education of trainees
  • Supervision of residents and medical students
  • Provide radiology services by reading and interpreting pediatric x-ray, ultrasound, CT, etc. imaging in a timely manner
  • Communicate the results and diagnosis to physician
  • Directing radiology staff to perform diagnostic procedures on patients, as per physician orders
  • Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.


  • Minimum Qualifications
    Qualified applicants must have an MD or DO degree and possess a medical license
    Qualified applicants must also be certified (or eligible if a recent graduate) by the American Board of Radiology (ABR)
    This position requires successful fellowship training in pediatric radiology or equivalent
