Production Test Technician (Temporary)

Location: Waltham, MA

Pay: $17.00-$24.00/hour

We are hiring a Production Test Technician for a temporary opportunity in Waltham, MA. This role is ideal for detail-oriented individuals with hands-on manufacturing experience who thrive in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical assembly, wiring, hand soldering, cable assembly, bonding, potting, and fitting
• Follow blueprints and specifications, holding tight tolerances
• Operate production equipment used in manufacturing ultrasound components
• Complete work orders on schedule and accurately record labor in MRP systems
• Maintain high-quality standards and meet production targets
• Identify and report equipment issues, non-conforming materials, and safety concerns
• Support Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace (5S standards)

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of manufacturing or assembly experience
• Lean manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Basic computer skills a plus
• Ability to multi-task, stay organized, and work independently
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and stand, sit, or walk for an 8-hour shift
