This is a Hybrid position, with 3 days onsite at Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, DC Knowledge of SQL and Power BI is preferred The FP&A Analyst Senior partners with local operational leaders to develop the entity's annual budget and near-term forecasts, monitor performance against plan, and provide decision-ready insights that reflect local drivers and constraints. The role translates centrally provided templates, standards, and assumptions into local plans and narratives, and supplies local commentary for downstream reports.
Essential Functions
|

Lead the local budgeting process with department managers (volumes, rates, FTE/labor, nonpayroll spend) using central templates and timelines.
|
*
|
Produce monthly variance analysis and performance review materials for local leadership; recommend corrective actions.
|
*
|
Maintain a rolling near-term forecast (e.g., monthly/quarterly) for locally controllable lines; quantify risks/opportunities.
|
*
|
Partner with operations to evaluate business cases and capital requests; provide local financial inputs and sensitivity analyses, including midmonth variance tracking and monthly operational improvement targets
|
*
|
Prepare local management reports/KPIs (productivity, volumes, unit costs) consistent with central definitions.
|
*
|
Support special projects (service expansions, program changes) with specific modeling and scenario analysis.
|
*
|
Ensure local data quality and flag exceptions to central Finance for master data or rules fixes.
|
*
|
Prepare local and consolidated reporting elements such as Labor Expense reports, Labor Productivity LUC reports, and volume reports.
|
*
|
Coordinate with the Controller's Office on local accountingrelated tasks when required.
|
Qualifications
|

|
Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field (Required)
|
*
|
Master's Degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field (Preferred).
|
One year of relevant education may be substituted for one year of required work experience, or one year of relevant professional-level work experience may be substituted for one year of required education.
|
5+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related field (Required)
|
Ability to:

Understanding of:
- Local service line economicsline economics
- Labor productivity metrics
- Volume/price/mix drivers

Salary Range: $43.89/hour - $72.42/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. The Hospital reserves the right to modify employee schedules as needed.
