Responsibilities

Peraton is currently seeking a Logistics Management Analyst

The Logistics Management Analyst is responsible for the strategic oversight, analysis, and execution of day-to-day logistics, supply chain, and procurement operations. This role requires in-depth knowledge of work processes and ability to manage independently the equipment lifecycles, determining provisioning requirements, and optimizing logistics processes. The ideal candidate will leverage advanced knowledge of GCSS-ARMY and Army Supply regulations to support system availability, reliability, and mission readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

    Strategic Logistics Management: Develop, manage, and optimize logistics processes for the team, including procurement coordination, inventory control, and transportation planning. Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, forecast operational needs, and recommend process improvements to senior management.
  • Procurement & Provisioning: Provide critical acquisition logistics support. Determine maintenance and repair materials required for deployment, and independently establish the range and depth of spares, tools, and related equipment to be stocked.
  • System & Database Administration: Oversee and manage property records and sub-hand receipts within the GCSS-ARMY system. Evaluate configuration changes to assess their impact on logistics deployment and overall readiness.
  • Inventory & Asset Control: Direct and oversee comprehensive inventory audits in coordination with the local Property Book Office. Identify, prioritize, and assess key logistics assets, independently formulating and implementing solutions to resolve complex discrepancies.
  • Lifecycle & Documentation Management: Develop and manage lifecycle documentation for all incoming and outgoing equipment. Ensure all technical manuals, maintenance requirement cards, and serviceability standards are accurately maintained and compliant with federal and internal regulations.
  • Vendor & Stakeholder Collaboration: Negotiate and manage vendor relationships to ensure the cost-effective and timely delivery of mission-critical goods. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align logistics strategies with broader business and operational goals.
  • Resource Allocation: Strategically allocate and issue equipment to primary and sub-hand receipt holders, continuously monitoring inventory levels and analyzing usage data to achieve optimal distribution.

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • 0 years w/BS/BA; 4 years no degree; 2 years w/Associates
  • Advanced proficiency in the GCSS-ARMY system and Unit Supply operations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to review technical data, customer usage data, and related reports to determine maintenance and repair requirements.
  • Ability to prepare and present strategic reports and metrics to senior management.
  • Ability to record and analyze complex datasets (serial numbers, part numbers, etc.) with strict precision and accuracy.
  • (Physical Requirements): Ability to perform tasks requiring prolonged sitting or standing at a desk using a computer, and the ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 15 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Desired

  • Working knowledge of the Army Enterprise Service Management Platform.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Federal Supply System and all Army Supply regulations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for data analysis and reporting.

Target Salary Range

$51,000 - $82,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
