What to Expect
Tesla is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Technician to inspect, test, maintain, and repair fire sprinkler systems across manufacturing and facility operations. The ideal candidate has experience with water-based fire protection systems and is committed to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
What You'll Do
- Inspect, test, maintain,
and repair wet pipe, dry pipe, pre-action, and deluge fire sprinkler systems - Perform quarterly,
semi-annual, and annual inspections in accordance with NFPA 25 standards - Troubleshoot and repair
sprinkler system deficiencies, valves, piping, and associated components - Support fire system
impairments, shutdowns, and restoration activities - Read and interpret fire
protection drawings, blueprints, and system schematics - Maintain accurate
inspection, testing, and maintenance documentation - Partner with internal
teams, contractors, and AHJs to ensure code compliance and system reliability
What You'll Bring
- 3+ years of experience in fire sprinkler installation, inspection, testing, or service
- Experience with wet pipe, dry pipe, pre-action, and deluge systems
- Working knowledge of NFPA 13 and NFPA 25 standards
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and fire protection plans
- Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude
- Texas RME-I/RME-G license or ability to obtain preferred
