Position Summary:

The Retail Operations Associate is responsible for preparing the store for opening each day, ensuring product is fully replenished, organized, and presentation-ready for customers. This role focuses on executing operational tasks efficiently, including cleaning, stocking merchandise, supporting offsite inventory, and maintaining store standards to enable a seamless customer experience once doors open. This position may require early morning shifts, including start times as early as 6:00 AM. Responsibilities:

Store Preparation and Merchandising

  • Prepare the store for opening by ensuring the store is clean, all merchandise is fully stocked, sized, steamed, and organized on the sales floor.
  • Execute replenishment processes to maintain proper product levels and presentation standards.
  • Ensure visual merchandising standards are maintained, including folding, front-facing, and organizing product displays.
  • Support inventory flow from stockroom or offsite storage to the sales floor. Initiate conversations with all customers as they enter the store to create a welcoming environment, educating them on the history of Wrangler.
  • Answer basic customer questions and direct them to appropriate team members for product support as needed.

Operation and Inventory Management

  • Receive, process, and replenish new shipments in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Support offsite storage processes, including transporting, organizing, and retrieving inventory as needed.
  • Maintain stockroom organization to improve efficiency and accessibility of product.
  • Assist with store recovery tasks, including go-backs and general organization.
  • Ensure the front of store areas are clean and organized.
  • Assist in daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures assigned, accurately process transactions, handle cash, and maintain point-of-sale integrity.
  • Follow all company and store policies, processes, and procedures.
  • React quickly to all customers and/or employee injuries and report them immediately to the manager on duty.
  • Participates in Loss Prevention Audits, understands and complies with company loss prevention policies to minimize store shrink.

Position Requirements:

  • Must be a minimum of 16 years of age or older.
  • To carry keys to the store, must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older.
  • Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business.
  • This role requires a minimum availability of 12 hours per week; flexibility for weekends and additional hours is a plus.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with customers and team members.
  • Operate office equipment and technology (i.e., cash register, computers, phones, scanners, etc.).
  • Stand and move throughout the store during scheduled shifts.
  • Walking and moving to assist customers, retrieve merchandise and recover the store.
  • Lifting and carrying, ability to maneuver and/or lift 25 lbs. regularly, and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
  • Ability to push/pull full racks of merchandise for restocking the store.
  • Ability to reach, stretch, bend, stoop, and crouch to retrieve items from shelves, restock, and maintain store cleanliness.
  • Manual labor is required to assemble displays and/or rearrange the store layout.
  • Vision to accurately read labels, assist customers, and tasks that require attention to detail.
  • Ability to use fine manipulation, and grasp with hands to sort and organize clothing, ex. place on hangers, folding, organize in color/size order.
