This is an extraordinary opportunity to practice relationship-centered medicine in one of Maine's most distinctive coastal communities. This .9 FTE position offers the chance to care for a close-knit patient population while enjoying a highly autonomous practice, strong community connections, and the support of Maine's largest integrated health system. Located just a short ferry ride from Portland, Peaks Island is home to approximately 800 year-round residents and a thriving seasonal community. The clinic serves as a critical healthcare resource for island residents, many of whom face transportation barriers and rely heavily on local primary care services. As the community continues to age and patient complexity increases, we are seeking a physician who values continuity, community-based care, and the opportunity to make a lasting impact. Total compensation packages may include, based on eligibility, recruitment payments, relocation assistance, productivity incentives and quality incentives.
